Cabin TV

YOUR PLAYLIST. YOUR SCREEN.
Watch only when safely parked or on a passenger's own screen. This website does not bypass vehicle video restrictions.

Playback details

HLS with adaptive quality, MPEG-TS / FLV where supported, and native MP4 / WebM playback. Device codec support still applies.

Add your playlist

URL imports send the playlist URL to this site's text-only fetch service. Files are read line by line in your browser, without a 15 MB or 20,000-entry cap. Use a source you have permission to watch. A playlist is a channel list; a single HLS URL is added as one stream.

Source needs a CORS relay?

Starter broadcasters allow direct browser playback. Other providers must permit browser access or use your own authorised HTTPS relay. The URL is sent to that relay. Never enter a relay you do not trust.

It must accept an encoded URL, rewrite nested HLS URLs and forward ranges. Leave blank for direct playback.

URL imports pass through this site's text-only fetch service without being saved or cached. Uploaded files stay in your browser. Imports remain in this tab unless you choose Remember. Browser storage is not a password vault.

Know what can play

Your playlist, three ways

Add a playlist URL (including an authorised get.php M3U URL), upload an M3U file, or paste its text. Search, group and favourite entries. Channels, movies and series are separated using playlist group labels and standard /movie/ or /series/ paths. M3U preserves entries and groups; it does not provide the richer episode metadata of the Xtream catalogue API. Imports replace the current list; Restore brings the starter channels back.

CORS, without guesswork

Starter broadcaster streams use their own HTTPS servers with browser access enabled. Playlist documents are fetched through a same-origin text-only service to avoid playlist CORS errors. Media is not relayed. Imported media uses direct browser access or the relay you supply; the relay must rewrite nested HLS manifests and forward byte ranges.

Formats and limits

HLS uses hls.js or native Safari HLS. MPEG-TS and FLV use mpegts.js on devices with Media Source support. MP4 and WebM use the browser's native player. There is no transcoder: unsupported HEVC, AC3, DTS, AVI/MKV codecs, DRM, provider tokens, geoblocks and offline streams may not play. HTTP playlist documents can be imported. HTTP media still needs your HTTPS relay on this HTTPS website.

The Defender screen

The 2020 Defender has a 10-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen. This player has large controls and a landscape layout, but a web page does not install a CarPlay app. Playback on the vehicle display needs a supported browser or parked-video display route. No actual vehicle test has been performed.

Starter sources

TRT Haber · TRT World · France 24. Sintel trailer: Blender Foundation, CC BY 3.0, supplied by W3C; MPEG-TS sample is a 15-second remux of that trailer. No endorsement implied.

This site has a playlist-text fetch service, no media relay and no paid hosting plan. Source availability depends on the broadcaster or your provider.
